Clamshell RTT Hardshell Rooftop Tents Sleeps 2/3 Person Clamshell RTT with Honeycomb Aluminum | iKamping Y Pro XL

Amazing hardshell rooftop tent product. Our inaugural outing was met with some severe thunderstorms. The canvas material held up beautifully and we didn’t have a drop of water on the interior. The wind that accompanied the storm did not phase the tent at all. We’ve had it out several times since and the experience has been awesome. My son loves the iPad sleeve for movie nights. I will be adding the 270 awning to the rig as soon as possible.

I have had many rooftop Tents, this is the best quality I have seen of any of my car tents. I had the iKamping P Adventure (a pop up designed tent) before this which is not made to the same attention to detail and quality for the exterior. This would be a 10/10 if you could keep your sleeping bags and small pillows in the clam shell tent. I need a mix of the quality of this roof tent but the convenience of the iKamping P Adventure tent. 80% of the total setup in rolling up my sleeping bag and playing Janga in my Jeep to organize in store it before we get to the next spot. The clam shell roof top tents only keep getting better but will be upgrading if it can be store bedding.

Overall this is a excellent clam shell roof top tent. I went from other brands of hard shell rooftop tent to the iKamping Y Pro tent as I preferred the sleek look and aluminum exterior. It's quick to deploy and has held up in some pretty wild winds. Over the past 12 months, I've spent about 35 nights in this hardshell roof top tent.
Looking forward to many more adventures with the iKamping Y Pro clam shell tent.

The iKamping Y Pro XL tent exceeded my expectations. My previous roof top tent was a more traditional soft top and not a clamshell design. The iKamping Y Pro XL is much easier to set up and take down and it is much better in strong wind. For ease of operation, the clam shell design is far superior.

I didn't want to send a review until I tested this clamshell RTTt a lot. The hardshell rooftop tent is amazing. High quality and very comfortable. I'm 1.9m tall and have plenty of space to move around, change etc. It does get a little tight with foot room. My 5 star review is not only for the tent product but for the outstanding customer service. These guys care about their customers. Answer any and all questions with fast response and have gone above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. I'm a iKamping fan for life!
