Well, owning the iKamping Y2 rooftop tent was a fantastic, short lived experience having to leave it after its maiden voyage once my 2009 Volvo XC70 died. From the time the tent arrived at my home, I knew I was in for something special. The crate was delivered safely and securely with everything you can imagine included in the un-packaging. From clear assembly instructions to flexible mounting hardware and tools, to LED strip lights s and more, the team at iKamping thought of everything. Also included was an expandable changing tent to add privacy at your car camp site. Opening and closing the clamshell tent was a seamless and easy experience with good action and a smart velcro and locking system. The interior space is comfortable and spacious with a lovely integrated foam mattress. The side openings include insect nets and black out shades which made my only night sleep perfection. I can't say enough good things about the iKamping Y2 tent and hope own another in the near future. Well done iKAMPING team

I recerched a lot of rooftop tents for three months and picked the iKamping Y2. My wife and I talked about getting a camper but I didn't want to be tied down with a hauling a trailer, so I started looking into rooftop tents. I was out west once before and saw them around which is where I got the idea. I don't think us east coasters have grasp this great camping alternative yet, you don't see them around here much. I recently retired and took a 30 days road trip around the country and traveled 9,000 miles. I went hiking, biking and visited a dozen of our national parks. I was selling on the iKamping rooftop tent, everywhere I went people were asking me about it and taking pictures of it. I loved my iKamping tent. I'm planning another trip this winter. I was also a little worried about thunder storms. The tent looks great on my gray Ford f-150 after I found a compatible rack and tonneau cover. Once I get my friends to help me put it on the truck this Autumn that is where it is going to stay until winter. It only rained two times while on my trip, but seemed to be nice and dry inside. If I leave early in the morning to go somewhere after a rainy night I just stop somewhere and its easy enough to just pop it up and down to let it dry. Great tent iKamping, I'll keep selling on it

I have been using our iKamping Y2 clamshell tent for about 3 months and love it. I recommended iKamping to our son and they bought a iKamping P Adventure pop up tent, but this last weekend proved to be the best test. We had HEAVY rain and wind for 4 days near Easton washington, and we were dry, no leaks and held up perfectly in the wind.

Just got my iKamping Y2 tent. Some friends came over and helped me get it up on top of my 1996 Toyota Land Cruiser. In a short period time, I had the hardware in place and popped up the Rooftop Tent. Excellent instructions and high quality made instillation easy. Service is great and delivery went well. Many great ideas went into this Rooftop Tent. Materials look to be long lasting. Price was also a big selling point too. I am not use to receiving anything without a problem or two to deal with. Amazingly, iKamping has scored 100% customer satisfaction, in my experience. Looking forward to camping all over the Northwest USA.
